The AWWA organizes and supports numerous activities at the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for residents and their families. The elderly cherish their heritage, and it is the AWWA's goal to preserve and perpetuate that culture by ensuring that the ANRC provides a warm and caring atmosphere rich in Armenian tradition. Events are run throughout the year and include holiday parties, an annual picnic, and numerous visits from musicians and clergy. At each event, members of the AWWA gather with staff and residents' families to enjoy lively and uplifting entertainment with the residents.
